Do you love browsing fanart inspired by your favorite books? Do you wish the stories could come to life before your eyes? With our overlay sheets, you can transform any book into an illustrated edition in the blink of an eye.
An overlay—also known as a book insert—is a digital illustration printed on vellum paper. Its special feature is the extremely thin, translucent paper that allows the text beneath to softly show through, especially behind lighter areas of the design. You can place the overlays between two pages; thanks to their delicate thickness, they fit seamlessly into glued bindings and won’t slip out easily.
If you’d rather not place it inside your book but still want to admire the artwork, you can frame it with a simple white sheet of paper. This way, it can decorate your bookshelf or even be used as wall art.
The illustrations are produced in a 133 × 203 mm size. If you have a smaller edition, simply trim one edge so it doesn’t extend beyond the pages. NEW: if you need a different size—for example, for English editions—please note the required dimensions in the order notes.
This fanart was created for the first book of the "Throne of Glass" series by Sarah J. Maas and depicts the main character, Celaena Sardothien, during the Yule celebration.
