Do you love looking at fan art for your favorite books? Do you wish the stories could come to life right before your eyes? With our overlay sheets, you can transform any volume into an illustrated edition in the blink of an eye!
An overlay (also called a book insert) is a digital illustration printed on vellum paper. Its unique feature is the very thin, translucent paper that allows the text behind it to peek through, especially behind the lighter parts of the design. You can place the overlays between two pages; because they are so thin, they tuck into the glued binding and won't easily slide out.
If you’d rather not put them inside your book but still want to admire them, you can place them in a picture frame with a simple white sheet of paper behind them. This way, they can decorate your bookshelf or even be used as wall art.
The illustrations are produced in a size of 138 x 207 mm. If your edition is smaller, simply trim the edges to ensure it doesn't stick out. NEW: If you need a different size (for example, for English language editions), please include the requested dimensions in the comments section when ordering.
This fan art was created for Sarah Beth Durst's book, "The Spellshop".
